Can you imagine how boring it would be if a town only had ONE clothing store , ONE restaurant , ONE gym, ONE playground , ONE coffee shop , ONE place for kids , ONE gas station, ONE dollar store, ONE hair salon , ONE nail salon , ONE…. you get the point right? People like variety....

People like variety. It’s okay if there’s more than ONE of something. Because guess what?! There’s enough for everyone. We live in an abundant universe and the possibilities are endless!
Also , guess what else?! Someone doing “something” doesn’t take away from your “something”. It just creates more “somethings” for people to choose!
Stay true to YOU. Some of us may do / offer similar things but guess what?! Each one of us brings something unique to the plate and one can’t do things quite like the other. We’re beautifully different. Be confident in your own gifts and talents and let others do their thing. We can ALL do our thing. We can ALL still be successful.
What do you love about visiting a town? All the options they offer and variety, right?! We need to embrace community before we give any attention to competition. We live in an abundant universe, we endless possibilities, there is enough for ALL! Think about the creative energy and time you waste every time you are upset or scared or mad at someone else offering something that makes you feel like you’re missing out or in competition with.
I think our culture has conditioned us to feel there is just not enough for all. That somehow we can’t all be successful and good at something if someone else already is. Even worse, we have believed this and made it our truth. Many of us live behind the shadow of someone else. Too scared to make a move, too scared to make someone upset or uncomfortable. We would rather not speak up or share our experiences , ideas or dreams before we have to face rejection, make someone feel uncomfortable or listen to someone’s devaluing opinion of us. So we pretend we have nothing important to say or downplay our idea just to play it safe and keep everyone around us happy and comfy.
I want to tell you, those are all garbage thoughts and unhelpful feelings. What a disservice to ourselves, our homes, our communities and our  world for us to keep all of  what makes you, ”YOU” and what makes me ”ME”, tucked away.  WE ALL bring something different to the plate and even if we did the SAME thing, no one can be me and no one can be YOU! That is the beauty of humanity, we are all so different and can compliment each other so well. It is not a more or less game, it is a how can we all show up as ourselves and compliment each other to serve and offer and be what others need.
We need to shift from the scarcity , lack and fearful mentality, to one of abundance, gratitude and love. Being a business owner, being the head of your family, stepping out of your box, becoming a leader, speaking your truth , deciding to be brave and be who you are meant to be, is not for the faint of heart, it is hard work , it involves sacrifice and it comes with a lot of challenges. But I can tell you, it is a million times worth it.  And it becomes so much better and beautiful when our hearts and minds are in the right place. When community , growth and abundance are above competition , lack and scarcity.
Community > Competition.
Abundant mentality > lack mentality.
Love > fear.
